Little Piece of Melbourne

Did you know that Melbourne was named world's most liveable city?
It has been a little over a year living here and I have truly fallen deeply in love with this beautiful city. They're still heaps of hidden gems of Melbourne I have yet to explore, but I thought I'd start sharing little pieces of what Melbourne has to offer.

A few days ago, I caught up with my friend Bridie and we decided to roam around the City and take a few photos. First stop was Hosier Lane which is one of the must-see spots in Melbourne. A laneway filled with vibrant art and graffiti. Walking through this iconic laneway felt like we were being transported to somewhere else. It reminded me of New York.
This alleyway is a place for the street artist to showcase their work to the public and it's completely legal. I love that the art is always changing and I love how unique each piece of art is. It's so fascinating and definitely worth a visit if you've never been!

"Meet me under the clocks."

The iconic Flinders Street Station! It is Australia's oldest train station and how gorgeous is the distinct golden colour with the copper dome?! The clocks at the front of the station is a popular meeting place.

Stumbled across some pretty sunflowers outside Melbourne Town Hall that just automitically made me happy.

I want to finish off with a few photos of Chinatown and say Happy Chinese/ Lunar New Year! I had a wonderful day celebrating day 1 (Chor Yat) of Chinese New Year with my family. Wishing you prosperity on the Year of the Monkey!

Have you ever been to Melbourne? What's fave spot in Melbourne?
