Is this duo not the cheekiest, sexiest, most unique looking skincare products your eyeballs have ever seen?! Let me introduce you to Lady Gorgeous by ESJ Organic Skin Care - an Australian skincare brand that is vegan-friendly. Founder of ESJ Skin Care, Emmanuel Sam Joseph created this skincare line after tirelessly not finding skincare brands that work for his problematic skin. Emmanuel formulated and designed this two-step skincare that is suitable for all skin types. If you have sensitive skin, you may like to give these products a try as they are 100% natural and made with 84% organic ingredients. The artistic packaging definitely gets a 10/10 from me for its uniqueness. Both the cleanser and moisturiser come with a pump and one pump for each step is all you will need.
The cleanser is quite gentle to use and feels lightweight on the skin. It lathers well and does a good job at removing makeup. However, it doesn't remove waterproof makeup that well but if you double cleanse then it's fine. As for the moisturiser, it is lotion like in consistency and doesn't feel too heavy on the skin. It is easily absorbed into my skin and it doesn't make my skin feel greasy at all.
One thing that I do have to mention is how heavily and strong scented they are. I'm usually someone that doesn't mind skincare products that are scented but I am not fond of the scent these products have. The cleanser is milder but the moisturiser is quite overwhelming and the scent lingers for quite a while. I mean if your man were to lean in for a smooch, he will definitely be able to smell it. Other than that, I have nothing bad to say about it. It leaves my skin feeling clean, hydrated and smooth.
I have been sticking to this two-step skincare regime for a couple of months now and it never once broke me out. It's simple to use and gentle on the skin. It does exactly what it claims to do for your skin and you can use these products confidently knowing that they contain no nasties but natural ingredients for your skin.
Pssst! For the last few days of this month, this duo is on sale for $64.50 AUD instead of $129 AUD! Yup, that's right- 50% off! This would make an awesome Christmas gift for your gal pal or if you are stuck on what to get for your boyfriend, they also have the male version as well called 'The Gentleman' by ESJ. Otherwise, treat yo'self, your skin will thank you for it!

Hello! I hope you still remember me! Sorry that I went MIA. With only three weeks left of the semester, assessments are coming at me left, right and center. Please bare with me! I actually just got done with a presentation, so now I can squeeze in some time to write up this post...

This outfit post is for those of you who are in the fall season currently. The colour of the top just screams autumn to me. I actually don't wear a lot of red or orange but when paired with everything else black, it's quite comfortable to wear and adds that pop of colour that's quite flattering. I'm obsessed with the off-the-shoulders trend right now too. Still not sure about the choker trend though. For me, I like finding chokers that are more dainty and add that subtle touch to the outfit.

Okay, I better go and work on my other assignments!
Talk soon

What's your favourite thing about fall/autumn?

On The Go | A Monochromatic Outfit

Can we take a moment to just take a deep breath? *breathe deeply* This month has been quite a busy one for me, where I'm trying to stay on top of things. Not getting the adequate amount of sleep that I should be getting every night but I'm surviving. Just. I have one more week of Uni then it's the mid-semester break. Not so much a break for me as I will be helping out at the Melbourne Spring Fashion Week. I am actually so excited and really looking forward to it. Bring it!
When I'm constantly on-the-go, I like to wear an outfit that's simple yet chic and doesn't require lots of thoughts to put together. I decided on a grey monochromatic colour scheme to go with the gloomy Melbourne weather teehee. When working with a monochromatic outfit, it's important to add texture. I added the black leather jacket for that shiny texture to add some dimension to the outfit. Another tip is to play with patterns! The top with grey, white and black stripes adds some visual interest and contrast to the overall look.
What is your most worn colour?

GUEST POST| 7 Beauty Products that Will Speed up Your Beauty Routine

Women all over the globe will surely agree on the fact that there’s never enough time to get prepared in the morning. If you’re one of them – welcome to the club! Of course, leaving your house looking like you’ve just got out of bed is simply unacceptable, but we have a solution to that problem. Here are essential beauty products and steps you need to follow in order to speed up your beauty routine, so check them out!

Cleanse and exfoliate your face the night before
Cleansing is essential after you remove your makeup before bedtime, and it will certainly save you some time in the morning. If you cleanse and exfoliate your face the night before, a moisturising wipe will be just enough to remove dirt (if any) and hydrate your skin.

Dry shampoo to the rescue
Washing your hair in the morning can be really time-consuming, which is exactly why a dry shampoo should be a staple in your bathroom. This extraordinary product absorbs oil between washings and masks dirt and odour in your hair, which makes it an absolute must-have. Some of them, such as De Lorenzo Essential Treatments Absorb Dry Shampoo actually add fullness and volume to your hair, while keeping it fresh and clean.

Get a long-lasting body wash

When buying your cosmetic products, either makeup or skincare ones, make sure that you choose the ones with long-lasting effects. This is particularly important if you decide to take a shower the night before in order to save some time in the morning – the scent will last much longer, helping you stay fresh all day long.

CC cream instead of foundation
Ditch your foundation and get a BB or CC cream instead – it still provides good coverage, while protecting and moisturising your skin at the same time. Garnier offers the most amazing line of such products which provide a long-lasting hydration and correct blemishes. It gets even better when you realise that some of them even have anti-ageing properties!

Skip your eye cream

Even though this may sound weird, skipping your eye cream can really be a time-saver when you’re in a hurry. Trust us, a regular serum you use on a daily basis will do the trick – your under-eye area will be hydrated and well-nourished, and it will definitely save you a step! CR Formulations’ The One serum will do wonders for your face, making it look refreshed and plumped up.

Red lipstick is your go-to option

Red lipstick can complement almost any outfit, and it can do a wonderful job even if you don’t apply anything else. If you choose to put focus on your lips, your eyes and cheeks can remain makeup-free, which is always a good option – particularly when you’re in a hurry. However, if you have trouble finding a perfect shade for your skin tone, check out an offer by Clarins makeup brand. Their Rouge Eclat lipstick line features several shades appropriate for different skin tones, so make sure that you’ve picked the right one!
Don't forget mascara
Even one coat of your favourite mascara will accentuate your eyes and make them look wide open, so don’t forget to apply it even when you’re running late. It will make your lashes look longer, thicker, and darker, which will draw more attention to your face even when you don’t put any other makeup on. Make sure not to skip this step in your morning beauty routine, because it will enhance your facial features and make you look wide awake.
As you can see, your morning beauty routine doesn’t have to be as time-consuming as you probably thought. Don’t worry, you’ll be able to accomplish everything in time if you carefully think through every step – everything will be just fine if you’re well-organised!

Photo Diary | SINGAPORE

How is it that I have lived in Malaysia for 10 years, and I never once been to Singapore until a month ago? I suppose it is one of those "better late than never" cases. Not that I really missed out too much as Singapore and Malaysia are quite similar in terms of the culture and food. I have to say, though, I personally like Singapore more than Malaysia. I just feel that SG is a lot cleaner, safer, and the people are really friendly.

Even though I was only in SG for a few days, I did see most of what SG had to offer. The only place I didn't get to explore was the Sentosa Island. My parents weren't really into doing the adventurous activities, so there wasn't much point going there. I'm also kicking myself that I didn't try their chilli crabs which are a must if you ever go to Singapore!

The first couple of nights, I stayed at Royal Plaza on Orchard Road which is where all the malls are. Woweee, you definitely need several days to get through all the stores. There were high-end, luxury brands, as well as fast fashion, budget friendly shops. Shopping heaven for everyone.

Then I stayed at Marina Bay Sands and got to swim at the infinity pool! I legit woke up at 6am on my last day just for a swim before the crowd and catch the beautiful sunrise. Sacrificing my beauty sleep was worth it. Whilst at MBS, I also went to Gardens By The Bay. I was absolutely blown away by the amazing architecture and the beautiful surroundings. It was just as beautiful at night too- truly mesmerising! My friend took me to a rooftop bar there and let me just tell you the view was absolutely breathtaking. Possibly the moment I fell in love with Singapore...

Ahhh I'm missing the beautiful SG already!

Have you visited Singapore before?

Back Split Knit Casual Look

Back Split Knit | Glassons

And just like that, it's July...June flew by so quickly and we are half way through the year already. Gulp. Looking on the bright side, it's one month closer to Summer. I got to escape the start of winter as I was enjoying the sunshine over in KL and Singapore. It was great. Once I got back to Melbourne, I was hit with a cold.

Sigh. Winter is truly here and it's time to rug up, blast on the heater, and drink many cups of  tea. This particular outfit just wouldn't do it in the 10 degrees Celsius weather, but it's a good layering base. I love the back split detail which is quite unique and flattering. As the overall colour scheme is quite cool, add an element of fun and pizazz with a patterned scarf. If you do decide to brave the cold, don't forget to bring a coat or a jacket! Stay warm!

What are some of your winter essentials?
