REVIEW: MAYBELLINE FIT ME CONCEALER

Hello beauties! In my previous post, I mentioned that I would share my two cents on the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer (sorry about the delay)..so here it is!

Honestly, I bought this concealer on a whimp so I really wasn't expecting much from it. The packaging itself reminds me a lot of the Nars concealer with its simple and ordinary packaging. The doe foot applicator is a hit or miss really; it makes it easy to put on the concealer, without having getting your fingers dirty. However, it can also transfer bacteria from your face to the product.

To me, the best thing of this concealer is the coverage and pigmentation. It gives a medium coverage but it conceals my under eye circles and imperfection pretty well. It has a nice creamy consistency, which makes it very easy to blend out. I think the lasting power is great too, it lasts throughout the day. However, I found that if I applied it around my nose or imperfections on my face, it fades away after a few hours even if I had set it with powder.

I use the shade number 20 in Sand Sable. It matches my skin tone really well, so it doesn't actually brighten up my eye area but, it means I can use the product on my imperfections as well. It cost me $14.95AUD from Priceline, which I think is pretty reasonable.

The only big no-no of this concealer, is that it creases on me which ain't cute. After I have applied it under my eyes, a few minutes later it settled into the fine lines. I even use primer beforehand, but that doesn't prevent the creasing.

Will I repurchase this product, you asked? Sadly, I will not repurchase it. Simply because I can't handle it creasing on me, it just ends up looking tacky. I have used other Maybelline concealers before, such as the Age Rewind and I loved that concealer a lot more over this one.

Have you ladies tried this concealer? What do you think of it?
