Helloo my pretties! Yes, it's that time of the month where I will be sharing with you guys what I loved during the month of March. Last month, I started uni and I honestly cannot believe it has only been a month. I have done so much in just one single month! With that being said, I'm really looking forward to having a break after next week. I need a breather before hitting home run with the final panel assessment at the end of the semester. Eeek! Another event I will be looking forward to is...going to the JASON DERULO's concert! I am so freakin' excited!! Okay.. I need to composed myself to get through the rest of this post.. So, let's get into my first favourite item of the month, which is..
THE BODY SHOP Honey Bronzer in Medium Matte
Words can't express my love for this bronzer. So, I really suggest you to go and try this beautiful bronzer yourself. I promise you won't be disappointed! I first heard of this bronzer from Estee of Essie Button and she raved so highly of this product. She even had it in her 2013 favourites. From Estee's recommendation, Ingrid from Missglamorazzi also had a positive review of it. They really convinced me to get this pretty little thing! At first, I was deciding whether to get Nars' Laguna or this honey bronzer. I ended up getting the Body Shop bronzer because it was a cheaper than Laguna. Not only is this cheaper, it's such an amazing bronzer! It's everything you want in a bronzer- not muddy, not too brown and not orangey at all. Another great thing about it, is it's completely matte. So, it's great for contouring too. Unlike Laguna, it has shimmers in it. Of course, the cute honeycomb pattern and compact mirror won me over too.
NIVEA Lip Butter in Vanilla & Macadamia
I've used this for quite some time now, so I thought I'd finally put it in a favourites post. I love the cute tiny tin packaging but I don't recommend putting this in your bag and apply it during the day. You use your hands for different things throughout the day, so it is unhygienic to keep reapplying this on your lips. For on the go, I prefer twist up applicator in a tube. I have this right next to me on my bed side table, and I apply this right before I go to bed. The next morning, my lips feels super soft like kissable soft and moisturised. It smells soooo divine, which sometimes make me crave for chocolate.. I will have to try out the rest of the flavours soon.
COVERGIRL Lash Blast Volume Mascara (Waterproof)
Yes, I know I'm late to the party. I believe that everyone have probably used this mascara before but this is my very first time trying it out. Now, I understand what all the fuss was about. It's an AMAZING mascara! I love how it volumises and lengthens my Asian lashes and it doesn't clump. It makes them look Va Va Voom beautiful. The staying power of the curl is great- lasts throughout the day and doesn't flake or smudge. The first week of wearing this, I wasn't used to the the ginormous wand and got the mascara on my eyelids. Now, i'm a pro at it haha. I will repurchase this baby over and over again.
NEUTROGENA Oil- Free Eye Make-up Remover
Following on from the waterproof mascara, I need something that would remove the heavy duty, stubborn mascara off my lashes. I know I can always count on the Neutrogena makeup remover to help me do that. This is my third bottle and clearly, I think it does a great job at removing my eye-makeup. It doesn't irritate nor break me out at all. I find it quite gentle to use. After applying onto my eyes with a cotton pad, it removes most of my makeup with a few swipes. I find the oil in it helps with hydrating my lid rather than making my eyes feel/look overyly greasy.
BEYONCE Midnight Heat Perfume
Who doesn't want a bit of Queen B in their life? I wore this perfume quite a lot last month. I'm bad at describing scents but here goes.. It smells sexy and dark. Yeah.. I would say this is better worn for the night hence, the name "Midnight Heat". I don't know what more to say other than I really like the smell of it.☺
ESSIE nail polish in Bordeaux
Since autumn is well and truly here, I'm really into wearing darker nail polishes like this one in the picture above. This is actually my very first Essie nail polish that I ever used and the obsession is only starting! Bordeaux is a beautiful blood red color with a bluish undertone. I used two coats of this to get it looking opaque and the formula is not streaky at all. The finish looked very glossy, vampy and sultry. It lasts quite a while before I notice chipping. Love love LOVE!
That's all for my March favourites! Have you try any of the products that I mentioned? Let me know some of your favourites in the comments below!
