Hey everyone, I'm back from my vacation!☺ Firstly, I apologize for not having any post up for the last week (pleasee forgive me? hehe). In case you didn't know, I was over in Malaysia for a holiday to visit my family and friends. [Follow me on Twitter to stay updated!] I only got back two days ago and I can't wait to get back onto schedule to blog. Okay, now onto today's post..

I was tagged by the two lovely ladies, Hope from Beauty & Bliss and Sisi from Modern Beauty Girl. They both tagged me in two different tag posts but I decided to put them into one post because A. these tags are way overdue and B... refer back to A. haha I thought this way just make things a little easier. Sorry about the delay girls but better late than never, right? Anyway, be sure to check out both of their blogs because they always have great content up to read. I'm sure you'll fall in love with their blogs. So, I will be listing three beauty things I suck at and I chose seven questions from Sisi's tag to answer. Let's jump straight into it!

 Beauty Things I Suck At!

  • French braiding my hair- I can braid my hair to the side or at the front but it's impossible for me to braid it right from the front of my head to the back. I find that my fingers gets tangled up and there are always all those random loops, bumps and loose pieces of hair. When I tried to braid, it never ends up looking like the picture above.. mine always ends up like a hot mess..

  •  Applying eyeliner and winging it out- Ugh..I just can't seem to get it right! Especially when winging it out, they never look the same - one is larger than the other, pointier, longer, not at the right angle.. It makes things a little harder for me when I already have uneven eyes. I always have to lined one of my top lash line more than the other to make them look somewhat "normal".

  • Applying falsies- The last post I did of the Spring Delight makeup look, where I applied the half- falsies. That took me probably a good 10 minutes to put it on correctly. I've tried putting the full length falsies - well that took me a lot longer than 10 minutes. Yup.. it's a bit depressing but I'll get there eventually with a lot more practice.
Q & A

What makes blogging comfortable for you?
The support and nice feedback that I get makes it easier for me to just be myself and blog. I try to write/type how I would normally communicate with people in real life. I think that way it shows my personality and makes the blog more real to read, rather than being all formal and serious.

What do you wear while blogging?
Shhhh... usually in my trackies/ pajamas pants and a t-shirt. I like to be comfy when I blog. Hair in a messy bun, no make-up, sweat pants and a cute tee with a cup of tea..that's the way I like it!☺

Awkwardest blogging moment?
Hmm..probably in my earlier OOTD posts where one of my friends were helping me take pictures in public and I was posing awkwardly. Yeah..i'm working on that.

One thing that you're looking forward to in the upcoming year?
Moving out of home and living the city life that I've always dreamed of. Daunting yet super excited for this new chapter of my life.

Are you a spender or a saver?
I'd say that I am more of a saver than a spender. I am definitely a bargain shopper. Of course, every once a while I like to splurge a little and spoil myself.

Who's your favorite blogger?
Ahh I have way too many faves. However, one of my all time favourite blogger/idol/inspiration/celeb is the amazing, Lauren Conrad. I love her style, her personality and just everything she has done to be where she is at today. Truly an inspiration to me. I cannot wait to see all her wedding planning posts coming up. Yayy☺

What's one quote that you wish the world could live by?
"Everyday may not be good, but there's something good in everyday." Always look on the bright side and be grateful for the little things that others take for granted.

If you haven't done this tag yet and you would like to do it, then you have now been tag to do it! Hehe

Hey pretty ladies! Today, I have a gorgeous spring makeup look to share with you all. I was inspired by the pretty colours on my flower crown that I recently bought. So, I decided to recreate an eye makeup look for you girlies. Let's begin!!..

I have already applied my face makeup. Now, we need to prime our eyes to ensure that the eye-shadow will last throughout the day and not slip and slide.

Then, grab your favourite white eye-liner and apply it all over your eye-lids. It will act as a base and will also help your eye-shadow pop and be more vibrant.

For the entire eye color, grab a shimmery mahogany red. I'm using the crease color from my Maybelline quad in Designer Chocolates. Apply this color to your eye-lids.
Now, for the center and inner corners of your eye lids, apply a champagne beigey color. The combination of the two colors create a very pretty rose-gold effect. I'm using Loreal's Infallible Eyeshadow in Hourglass Beige.

As for the crease, I use the deepest color from my blush. Yes, blush. Great duo purpose product. Be sure to blend out the colours. To make my eyes stand out even more, I added a touch of pink shimmer loose powder to the center of my eye lids. Mine is from Chi Chi. This is optional, but I think it just make your eyes pop and it's super pretty.

Then, to define your eyes. I lined my under eyes with a brown liner. For the day time, I prefer lining my eyes with a brown liner or brown eyes shadow because it looks softer and more subtle than a black liner. For my upper lash line, I lined my eyes with a gel liner and winged it out. After that, it's time to curl your lashes and apply mascara.

Feel free to put on some falsies if you'd like to. I went with these accent falsies for the corner of my eyes for that flirty girly look.

To finish off the look, put on your favourite coral pink lipstick and you're goood to go!

Taa-daaa! What do you guys think? I think it turned out super pretty and perfect for spring. It's pretty wearable for the day time too. I hope you all enjoy this little makeup look. Until next time...

The Would You Rather Tag: Makeup Edition!

Hello my lovelies! I was tagged by the beautiful, Hope from Beauty & Bliss to do the Would You Rather Tag but there's a twist to it. It's a Makeup Edition for us beauty lovers. Hope is one of my faves in the blogging world and she recently started her YouTube channel! I'm sure it would make her day if you could go over to her channel and subscribe. I don't know why you wouldn't want to, as she has such an amazing accent and personality. Thanks for tagging me, Hope!☺

1. Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lip glosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?
I would happily lose all of my palettes and eye-shadows as on the daily basis, I don't wear much eye-shadow anyway. I only owned one palette and the quality isn't that great so that's that. Mascaras and eyes-liners are my favourite make-up products to wear because they really accentuate my eyes and make them look awake and defined. Without mascaras and eye-liner, I feel like the eye-shadow you have on isn't complete.

2. Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
I loveee my hair and having it all chop off would be devastating but I'd rather that than never be able to cut it again. Reason being, I would love to donate my hair away for people that need it and for the World's Greatest Shave in support for the leukaemia patients. Hair do eventually grow back or we can wear cute beanies all day everyday.

3. Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
Umm.. I don't own any coral blushes so I'd probably rather have a pink cheek. I think coral might not suit my skin tone very well. Pink blushes just look very natural and perfect for all year round.

4. If you had $1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?
I feel like everyone would say makeup for this one but I'd have to go with clothes! Even though makeup is more expensive than clothes, clothes are my life. I'm a fashion student and I have the pressure of not wearing the same clothes everyday. So, I need all the best clothes I can get!

5. Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?
Haha this is a weird question! Why would you want to apply lipstick as eyeliner?! Anyways, eyeliner as lipstick seems like a  more appropriate choice as eyeliner is similar to a lip-liner and probably make less of a mess than having applying lipstick as eye-liner.

6. Would you rather only shop at Mac or Sephora?
Well, there's actually no Sephora here in Australia so I'd choose Mac.☺

7. Would you rather only use one eyeshadow color or one lip color for the rest of your life?
Hmm...does a lip color count as a tinted lip balm? As I have mentioned above, I don't wear eye-shadow on a daily basis. I don't actually like wearing lipsticks or lip-glosses so if I can have a lip color for a lip balm then I'd happily have that for the rest of my life.

8. Would you rather wear winter clothes in the summer, or summer clothes in the winter?
Ahh I dislike the cold! In that case, I'd rather wear winter clothes in the summer. Melbourne weather here is pretty unpredictable. Some summer days can be quite chilly, so I wouldn't mind wearing winter clothes in the summer time.

9. Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?
If you know me personally, you'd know that I ALWAYS have nail polish on my nails. I'd go with bright colored nails just because brights colors make me happy and cheerful.

10. Would you rather give up your favorite lip product or your favorite eye product?
Probably eye product. I'm always consistently reapplying my lip balm. I can't stand having dry, cracked, flaky lips. It's not cute at all!

11. Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?
Sadly, I'm not that type of girl that can just throw my hair in a messy bun and still look amazing. I look like I've been running around chasing a chicken with a messy bun. [Wait..chasing a chicken? What?!] I'm the type of girl that need to have a hairbrush to comb out my hair for a hairstyle, so a ponytail it is.

12. Would you rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lip gloss?
Okay, let's see how well you actually know me.. What do you  think?

13. Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday?
Ahhhh NEITHER!! Fine.. I'd shave my eyebrows..I've seen someone with sharpie eyebrows and it's so bad, it scares me.

14. Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?
Oh gosh! As much as I love my nail polish I think I can live without them. Makeup is fun and make me look pretty and feel great!☺

Phewww, some real interesting, tough questions there! I hope you all enjoy reading my answers. Have a fabulous day♥♥
